This is a great area for mountain biking. It is also a water sports paradise: windsurfing/kitesurfing at a 15 minute distance, wakeboarding and waterskiing and SUP at 30 minutes, kayaking 5 minutes away. Within a 5 minute drive, you will find lake access in the public park in Nuevo Arenal, as well as several other locations (Puerto San Luis being a very nice one, at 30 minutes), but not within walking distance.
